Under 16 Leinster finals: Best of luck to our under 16A and 16B teams in this year's Leinster finals on Sunday 24 April. The under 16As will play Kilkenny in the A final while the under 16B team will play Kildare in the B final. Well done to the girls and the managements of both teams on reaching the finals - just reward for their efforts, commitment and dedication. Venues and times TBC.
Féile 2016: Féile takes pride of place this coming weekend. Féile is a celebration of all that is good about underage Camogie! There will be 5 divisions in 5 separate venues on week-end of 23/24 April. We wish the players, mentors and their families all the best at Féile. We thank the clubs who are hosting this year’s Féile events - Ballyboden St Endas (Div 1), Cuala (Div 2), St Peregrines (Div 3), Thomas Davis, and (Div 4) Na Fianna (Div 5)
The Féile Skills competition: This competition takes place in Silver Park on the Friday evening, 22nd. Registration is 5.30 with the Skills competition starting at 6pm. Our thanks to Kilmacud Crokes for hosting this popular event again this year.
Adult Leagues 2016: The third round of our adult leagues continue this Tuesday 19th April for Sen 1, 2, 6 & 7 and this Thursday 21st April for Sen 3, 4 & 5. Clubs are reminded to check out the revised rules governing this year’s leagues. These and all our fixtures are available on the Dublin Camogie website.
Adult Leagues Refixtures: An Rúnaí has sent out refixtures for matches that were not played due to bad weather. These fixtures are on the website. These fixtures may be brought forward by mutual agreement of both clubs and written confirmation being received by the County Board.
Wearing of Bibs by all managers/mentors at all competitive games: Referees have been instructed to note non-compliance in their reports of managers/mentors who fail to wear appropriate bibs at all competitive matches. Sanctions are in place for non compliance with this bye-law.
Clarification under 11-12 Go Games: 1 Fees - Referee fees are €30-00. (€15-00 per team). 2 Duration of games - 25 minutes each half. 3 Equipment - All players must wear a helmet, with full facial protection, shin guards & skort. 4 Goalposts - Well supported portable goalposts (not poles) should be used. (Min 8' X 6' - Max 15' X 7') 5 - Referees - Referee will be from neutral clubs and be at least 15 years old. Referees should be contacted at least 48 hrs in advance of fixture.
Registrations: A reminder to all clubs thatb the deadline for registrations is the end of the month. Failure to meet this deadline will cause problems.
