Lucan Sarsfields 3-3 Ballyboden St Endas 0-2
A closely fought game throughout and while Lucan were the better team there was a touch of good fortune about one or two of the early goals with the woodwork playing a part.
Féile Parade at Naomh Olaf
Nevertheless a green flag by Sophie McIntyre and excellent points from player of the match Sinead Daly were fine scores. Lauren Dawson and Emma O’Brien were others to impress.
Boden tried all they could and knocked over neat points by Julie Vaughan and the excellent Jennifer Hanrahan. Sarah O’Connell did well in goals and Mia Smith tried very hard to lead her team.

Naomh Uinsionn 5-2 Ballinteer St John 0-3
While the margin was sizeable at the finish, for long spells Ballinteer were a match for the northsiders. Vincents opened with a goal from Jess Brady after 2 minutes but Rebekah Fitzpatrick nailed two lovely points for the Marlay Park crew. The Northside outfit gradually eased in front with a point from Ava Lambe and a goal from Grace Fitzpatrick set them up for a half-time lead of 2-1 to 0-3 – Ellie Doran the scorer of the Ballinteer third point.
But Ava Lambe proved to be a real menace for Vincents and two more goals from the lively forward clinched victory in the second half.

Naomh Maur 2 -1 Naomh Bríd 0-4
This was undoubtedly the Match of the Day with Naomh Maur edging home to claim their first Féile title. But it could just as easily have gone the other way and as the Russell Park outfit pressed for the goal that would have taken the game to extra time. Aoibheann Gilsenan was in the right place to make a vital catch and clearance just in front of her goal in the last play of the game.
Naomh Bríd were first to score through the excellent Mia Murray inside two minutes but Maur’s got a huge lift a minute later when Zara Thorne managed to goal. Although Naomh Bríd won the round robin game, Naomh Maur were hugely determined not to have to go through that again. But although winning a fair share of possession, they were finding scores difficult to gather. Naomh Bríd on the other hand came roaring back with points by Millie Molony and Tara Coffey to level at half time. The game was held up for several minutes due to an injury to Naomh Bríd captain Dara Loomes but she bravely continued.
Within a minute of the restart Tara Coffey had her second point to put the Blanchardstown girls in front. But 12 year old Kerri Austin followed up on her recent scoring exploits in Croke Park on the Camán to Croker day with a levelling free.
The exchanges were fast and furious and Jane O’Reilly made a great save from Kerri Austin to deny Maur’s a goal. But that score eventually came and the chance was superbly taken by Zaynab Salemi. It was backs and forwards to the wall for the remaining 10 minutes and Maur’s just about held out for a great win.

Raheny 4-5 Round Tower Clondalkin
Kate Kelly of Wexford is one of the greats of the game. She may have a namesake match if in years to come Kate Kelly of Raheny rises to similar greatness with Dublin. She finished with 1-3 to her name and was involved in much more besides.
She was to first to score when she lofted over a point after 2 minutes. A goal in the 10th minute by Amandine Barr, daughter of former Antrim hurler and All-Star Ciarán Barr pushed them 1-1 to nil in front. But a super goal Kate Whelan after a great run by Megan Hoyte gave Round Tower hope. That hope grew further in the 14th minute when again Megan Hoyte burst through the middle, the pass to Kate Whelan was superbly dispatched to the net.
However a goal from Aoibheann Harrison and a point from Katelyn Kelly gave Raheny a vital 3-2 to 2-0 lead at the break.
Player of the Match Ella McCormack was a tower of strength around the middle of the field for Raheny and it took a brilliant save from Karla Meehan in the Tower’s goal to deny Kate Kelly her second goal. But that score was coming and it arrived courtesy of great effort from Emma McHugh in the 30th minute. Two further points from Kate Kelly and Jane Murphy gave Raheny a nice cushion and try as Round Tower did their only scoring response was a super point by Kate Whelan.

Ballyboden St Endas 6-3 Cumann Báire Chaoimhín 0-0
The Firhouse Road team had too much strength for a game CBC. ‘Boden struck early goals from Áine Rafter and Ciara Kelleher (daughter of Brian – former Dublin hurler) to go with the points from Alice Rudden and Ella Keane. Katie McCabe brought the first half tally to 5-3 by the interval.
CBC had some excellent players in the super Sadbh O’Leary-Deane and Leah Roe-Ashe and they will be back for better days. The final score in a much more competitive second half came from ‘Boden’s Elena McDonagh.
