Liz Howard, President of the Camogie Association, was honoured at a reception held by the Portobello Camogie Club in the Rathmines Inn on Thursday March 26th. Liz Howard has been a member of the Portobello Camogie Club since 2006.
During her term as President of the Camogie Association she regularly attended Portobello games and was one of our most loyal supporters. Liz often used the opportunity when at games in the Phoenix Park to see many of the other Dublin clubs also playing in the park. Liz has along association with Dublin Camogie having played with the Celtic and Phoenix Clubs winning county titles with both and also on the Dublin inter-county team. Liz is one of six Presidents to have emerged over the years from the Celtic Camogie Club.
The Portobello Camogie Club is very honoured to have had Liz as a member during her Presidency. The club made a presentation to Liz and congratulated her on a very successful term as president and wished her the best of luck in the future.
